Project Manager, Limited Renewable Technician
Eugene has been in the construction trades since working at his father's side in his father's wooden boat shop as a child. After working in the construction trades for many years he went on to study renewable energy at Lane Community College and earned his Associates of Science in Renewable Energy. Since he joined Energy Design in 2004, Eugene has directly participated in the installation of well over 500kW of solar projects in Oregon. Eugene apprenticed with Energy Design and now holds a Ltd. Renewable Energy Technician (LRT) license in Oregon. This electrician's license allows the holder to install, maintain, replace, or repair electrical wiring and electrical products that convey or operate on renewable electrical energy.
Eugene is an avid outdoorsman and finds an undeniable connection between the natural world he loves and his dream of a sustainable energy future.
